Sujet de recherche
Utilisation des kystes de dinoflagellés comme indicateurs indirects dans l'étude de l'évolution paléocéanographique pré-industrielle des environnements marins arctiques, mer de Beaufort (Canada)
Projet de recherche
Dinocysts as a proxy in paleoceanographic reconstructions of post-industrial period in marine Arctic environments, Beaufort Sea (Canada)
The aim of our project is to reconstruct the paleoproductivity and the evolution of sea- surface conditions after the industrialization in the Beaufort Sea. We will also document the variations of the outflow of the Mackenzie River for the period covered by our core (Malina 680, 69°29.25’N, 137°56.43’W, water depth: 54 m, length: 36 cm) using a combination of micropaleontological indicators (dinocysts, pollen, spores, other freshwater palynomorphs) and historical data with a high-resolution (each cm).
