My research activities are varied but focus on human/environment interactions during Prehistory. I am interested in interdisciplinary approaches and modelling techniques as a means of exploring the impact of climate change on human systems and the influence of landscape structure on human population dynamics, gene flow and patterns of cultural evolution. I am also interested in spatial analyses, archaeological survey in Europe and Africa, spatial cognition and wayfinding.
