- This program aims to contribute to the costs incurred by Geotop students and postdoctoral researchers in attending major national and international conferences.
- The amount awarded will be a maximum of $500 and may be reduced depending on the number of applications. If we receive too many applications, priority will be given to those who have no other travel assistance.
- The amount granted will be reimbursed after the conference, either to the student/postdoc or to the director (to be determined), upon presentation of proof of participation (certificate of attendance, copy of travel claim, etc.).
- This program will be repeated in 2024 (date to be determined). Priority will then be given to students who have never received support through the present program.
Eligibility:
- The student/postdoc is supervised by at least one Geotop regular member.
- The student must be registered full-time.
- The student/postdoc must be the first author and presenter.
- The student/postdoc must have submitted an abstract to the conference at the time of application.
- Geotop must appear in the student/postdoc's affiliations (other affiliations may also be indicated).
- The Geotop logo (available here) must appear on the PowerPoint presentation or poster.
